I am Mrs. Marsha Garrett, and I am the founder and owner of Noble Academy, LLC and Lil’ Smarties Preschool & Play, LLC. I have held the position of Director and Chief Educator for these businesses over 18yrs but I’ve worked in the field of education for 25+ yrs directly with children of all ages. I’ve worked for the Hickman Mills, Center and Kansas City School Districts, as a childcare teacher in locally owned childcare centers in my earlier years and with youth ranging in age birth to teen in a few churches for over 30 yrs as either head of youth department, as a worker or as an assistant to childcare / youth leaders. My desire to see people excel and prosper in every area of their life led me to not only work in the field of care and education to children professionally but also personally as my family and I have adopted and also do foster care. My heart and passion is to advocate for the voiceless and offer a safe and stable environment for families in all walks of life.
I have an extreme love and appreciation for the Arts and have developed a Preschool – Kindergarten curriculum that fosters this same love and appreciation into children of all ages.
I’ve been married to Cecil Garrett for 22yrs and counting and together we have a blended family of 10 children, my two (who became his), his two (who became mine), our two (who completed our union), and four through adoption (who helped grow our love and compassion for all). We currently have a total of 6 grandchildren and are excited about our growing family.
